Thanks to the dedicated support of Digital Extremes' community for the past 13 years, Digital Extremes has been nominated for multiple awards to kick off this year, including Warframe for the Games Excellence – Best Community Experience at the Webby Awards, The Old Peace for the Fan Choice Award presented by ESAC, and Digital Extremes for the Studio of the Year at the Canadian Game Awards.
Games Excellence – Best Community Experience Award (Webby) Description: “Games that set an industry standard of excellence for community experience by combining intuitive UX with robust social features, inclusive interaction, and systems that sustain active, engaged player communities.”
Fan Choice Award (ESAC) Description: “The ESAC Fan Choice Award invites players across Canada to vote for their favourite game of the year. Open to all nominated titles at the Canadian Game Awards, this award celebrates the games that resonated most with players. The winner is determined entirely by fan votes.”
Canadian Game Awards (CGA) Description: “The Canadian Game Awards are a celebration of Canada's growing gaming industry—one of the largest in the world. Designed "by the industry, for the industry," the CGA strives to engage the public and fans in celebrating this thriving sector and the best in Canadian game development.”

The ESAC Fan Choice Award voting is open from now until Monday, May 4th, 2026. After this date, the Top 10 finalists will be revealed based on all fan votes to date. From that point forward, voting will continue exclusively among the Top 10 nominees. The final winner of the ESAC Fan Choice Award will be announced live at the Canadian Game Awards.
