Next Soulframe Preludes update arrives free for PC, introducing revised loot and crafting systems, fresh social features like trading and in-game mail, new weapons and enemies, among quality-of-life improvements
Digital Extremes launched its latest Soulframe closed Alpha update, Preludes 15: Gods & Ghosts, for free on PC today. This Soulframe Preludes update invites Envoys to experiment with a revamped loot and crafting system, bond together using social features like trading and in-game mail, discover new enemies and weapons, and engage with the latest quality-of-life improvements derived from community feedback.
Notable changes arriving with the Preludes 15: Gods & Ghosts:
Explore a reworked loot and crafting system that aims to expand overall gear variety. Embrace more unique finds as defeated enemies now drop fully crafted weapons with new Tempers, Soulframe’s randomized modifiers. Players can also forge Ingots with the blacksmith Tuvalkane to refine craftwork.
Call upon fellow Envoy protectors to aid your journey with the arrival of gear trading and in-game mail features to spread the spoils of battle and meaningful messages throughout the lands of Alca.
Seek out new dangers that roam the land with the latest Siege Encounter, Turret Jotar, as well as a reworked enemy patrol system, beckoning forth fresh mob encounters and new enemies to repel, like the fierce Ode’n Caeulam.
Awaken strategic build options with the most recent Totem system rework, connecting them to each of the three Virtues: Courage, Spirit, and Grace. Totems now bestow stat bonuses and buffs for Pull Smite and Rune Abilities, which bring forth Totem combinations that serve as worthy pairings for the game’s newest weapons: the heavy axe Veilk, the long blade Ilverac, and the heavy mace Vrusht-IX.
