One of the first titles made available for online play through Xbox Live®, Unreal® Championship, again through the partnership of Digital Extremes and Epic Games, provided console gamers with an adrenaline packed first person action experience designed specifically for Xbox®. Unreal Championship incorporated finely tuned and unparalleled game play on a console system that combined a brilliant single-player experience with an unparalleled multi-player component. Players could blast through a series of matches (a league based tournament) in the single player mode against computer controlled opponents or against friends in split screen mode, via system link or online through Microsoft’s Xbox Live broadband gaming network.
